Hello, I’m Kawshik Banerjee, a recent Computer Science graduate from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology with a strong interest in Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics, and Responsible AI.
Fascinated by the ever-evolving nature of language, my undergraduate research focused on assessing how our understanding, usage, and the association of racial and ethnic stereotypical terms have shifted over a 13-year period using embedding regression on social media data.
Currently, I’m collaborating with Dr. Nur Ahmed in a multidiciplinary research lab. Our recent work examines the extent of the industry’s engagement with responsible AI, its incorporation into products and the adverse consequences.
